Jacob Bruner is a 2L at the University of Miami School of Law and is a Junior Editor with the Race and Social Justice Law Review. He attended the University of the South in Sewanee, TN graduating Magna Cum Laude while majoring in Politics and minoring in History. Jacob is a Fellow with the University of Miami’s School of Law’s Investor Rights Clinic after being a legal intern for the Fall 2023 semester. As a Fellow he helps guide a team of interns on the work of representing investors who have been wronged by their brokers and bringing arbitration claims to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) which governs broker-dealers and their firms. He is interested in litigation and has been a law clerk at the growing firm EPGD Attorneys at Law in Coral Gables since August. When not conducting legal scholarly writing and research Jacob enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time with friends exploring Miami.
