Emily G. Finch received her BA in History and English from Kalamazoo College and both a Masters of Science in Information (focusing in libraries, archives, and digital curation) and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Michigan. She recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Art Crime in Cultural Heritage Protection through the international organization the Association for Research into Crimes Against Art (ARCA). Prior to enrolling at the University of Miami as an early honors JD/LLM candidate focusing in art and intellectual property law, Emily served as Assistant Professor| Scholarly Communication and Copyright Librarian at Kansas State University and Library Futures Community Fellow. Emily is passionate about the democratization of knowledge and access to information and is an advocate for open and factual educational resources and the freedom to read.
