Mandy Martin is a 2L in a joint degree program to receive a JD and a Master’s Degree in Music Industry. Mandy is also a Junior Editor for the Race and Social Justice Law Review. She grew up in Niceville, FL, then moved to Louisiana to get a vocal performance degree (and psychology minor) from Louisiana State University. Mandy graduated summa cum laude from LSU with College Honors and a University Medal. Currently, she is a teaching assistant for the Frost School of Music, where she assists professors in the Music Industry Program. She is also a research assistant for the Office of Alumni Relations, where she conducts interviews with alumni that can be found on the Law Alumni Association website. She also serves as the Mentorship Chair for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and is a member of the Honor Council. During her 1L summer, Mandy interned at the Law Office of Allen Jacobi where she worked on transactional matters in the entertainment field. In her free time, Mandy enjoys reading, yoga, and singing at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
